Rock? Rose? Cuticle? I dunno, but I like it ^_^

This piece is for sale in aid of Brain Tumour Reseach [link] - it took ~6-8 hours to make and you can make me an offer by note here on dA.

Apophenia is the tendency of the human brain to see meaningful patterns in random data. Famous examples would include the face on mars and the likeness of jesus on a waffle (examples of a type of aphophenia called pareidolia.) In my case I have a tendency to perceive biological patterns in the surface of paper. But hey, I'm happy with this odd habit of my cortex and its cognitive processes
