Memories of a Machine by Immy-is-Thinking Memories of a Machine by Immy-is-Thinking
An exquisite corpse with Luca Rossi (Italy) - Luca drew the left half and covered but for a small strip, from which I completed the right half. Guess the connections!
THANK YOU SO MUCH LUCA! :D

I already know from previous collaboration that Luca is the master of precision drawing... so an A3 EC made me rather nervous... Fortunately for me he is also very patient because this took me... For.... Ever....! But I was so excited when I finally got to cut the tape, open the drawing and see the beautiful whole! Thanks again my friend! :huggle:

This is beautiful..I love the amalgamation of the organic with the technological! If you don't mind, could you explain the purpose or meaning behind this work (if you guys had one in mind)?

Thank you muchly!

I don't think we really has a purpose... the idea of exquisite corpse is that you don't know what each other draws til the end... but I guess Luca and I have collab before and I think we tend towards the neuro-mechanical!

Drawing looks fantastic, particular the cells were an awesome touch.  Are those retina ganglionic cells?  I really wanted them to be radial glia.

Thank you  actually they are CA1/2 hippocampal pyramidal cells... at the time I drew this I was working on a study of formalin-fixed brain slices... The images stuck in my head! :)
