An A5 automatic drawing in colour pencils. I think it looks like some kinda triffid in an old fashioned smoking jacket, hence the name. A new species that fell out of my brain and I'm going to call Triffidus vincentpricicus after John Wyndham's triffids and my favourite smoking-jacket-wearer. This individual is called Crawford, and it doesn't actually smoke. Crawford just likes to keep a retro look about its exoskeleton.
I knew i was one of the elder postgrads in a department once when i used the word triffid and nobody else knew what i meant... noone had read/seen 'Day of the Triffids'. Time to start calling people "sonny"? I jest... I started referring to physiology students as 'sonny' (even the girls) ages ago
